This cute little baby comes in a compact size packaging with a transparent lid. It has a button in front, so when you press the button the lid opens up and you are good to use the product. Unfortunately what I don’t like about this highlighter is that it doesn’t come with a mirror neither a brush. Now coming on to the shade, the Mac mineralize skin finish in shade soft and gentle is a very beautiful peachy champagne shade. The highlighter has powdered shimmers present in it. But the shimmers are neither chunky nor too loud.
They are perfectly subtle shimmers. The highlighter is very well pigmented, hence in one swipe you get good amount of product on the cheeks. The texture of the highlighter powder is very smooth and buttery. It doesn’t feel chalky and powdery at all. It just blends beautifully on the skin.
The highliter stayed on my skin for good 3-4 hours after that it started fading. Now the good news is that this highlighter is from MAC’s permanent range so one does not need to rush and get it. You can go and buy this highlighter anytime. This shade will flatter all skin tones be it fair, medium or dusky. However I would like to advise you to try the product first before buying it. Also, please note that I have applied the product quite with a heavy hand for it to show up well in pictures below. In person, it gives a very natural looking glow.
