NOTE: After formatting the FlashAir card, the FlashAir card will need to be setup using the ID400 passport printer as either a printer or camera card. This will configure the network settings on the card. Once a mobile device is connected to the FlashAir card, the internet pass-through functionality enables the device to access the internet via a wireless access point. This removes the need for users to swap between a WiFi connection and the FlashAir card when uploading images to social media sites.
This new functionality will also be made available for the recently introduced 8GB and 16GB Speed Class 10 FlashAir cards running earlier firmware versions, which can be updated by using the Firmware Update Tool.
It was first announced during WWDC 2018 and a public beta was made available towards the end of June. MacOS Mojave is getting a slew of new features, so let’s have a quick look. Updating to macOS Mojave will be freely available from the Mac App Store, starting September 24. Mojave, or macOS 10.14, will be available on Monday, September 24th, as a free upgrade for compatible Macs. The new Mac operating system includes Stacks Desktop file organization, Quick Actions in Finder windows for marking up and editing documents, enhanced screenshot and recording.
