However, if you are using an Exchange account or Office 365 for Business account, you can firstly add the Google calendar from OWA (Outlook Web App) and then Google calendar will automatically sync to Outlook for Mac.

This announcement, like most, has its caveats, of course. Support isn't widely available just yet, as Microsoft wants to solicit feedback from Fast ring Office Insiders first. The rollout is set to expand to more and more insiders over the coming weeks ahead of a general release sometime 'later this year.'

If you're already a member of the Office Insider Fast ring, you can simply check for updates in Outlook to see if this latest batch of features is available for you now. If you're not yet a member, you can sign up by heading to Help > Check for Updates, checking the box to join the Insider program, and selecting either the Fast or Slow ring.
