Where is the stamps folder for Acrobat Pro 2017? Thanks so much. Mac Book PRO - Stamps Folder. Best email software for mac. Where do I find Dynamic stamp files on a networked mac? Let us know if you have a further query.

Where are custom stamp files located in Acrobat X for Mac (Mountain Lion)? Where are custom stamp files located in Adobe X Pro for Mac? I am using Mac OS X Mountain Lion. To add JavaScript to a custom stamp in Adobe Arcobat it must be added after the file as been created and saved. I now am unable to locate the file within the /users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/ACROBAT VERSION/Stamps (location in earlier Acrobat versions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Charles Chase.

I recenty purchased Photoshop CC. The stamp tool does not find Alt+click fast. If I alt+click and move the cursor to stamp it, if I does it fast, it stamp some thing at the source point itself. + sign also doesnot move along with the mouse pointer.

I am bound to alt+click. Wait for a sec. And then slowly move the tool. This is so frustrating, I have to use it and it takes so much of time or else I will ruin my photographs and then ctrl+Z and then work slowly. Zzzzzz I tried resetting my preferences, Updated my ATI/AMD graphics card drivers, No streaming in my browser in background. (These suggestions I got from adobe forum) I dont understand how to work without stamp tool.

Please get this rectified. I have the same issue, I use Photoshop 2017 on Mac, with Intuos Pro.You can test the issue when using the clone stamp tool.

The ALT Click won't work at all. I raised this issue with Wacom back in July of 2016, but it was an issue way before that. The only way I could get this to work was to uninstall the Wacom driver completely and rollback the driver to version 6.3.15-3 Wacom says this is a Adobe issue, but if the older driver works and the newer one breaks it, then it is clearly a Wacom issue. I agree with bill bane, there's more to this than Wacom. Clone Tool is fussy and difficult lately. I'm repeatedly having to press Option and re-click the source layer to remind it what layer it's supposed to be sampling from or it'll start sourcing random layers.

In my case it likes to sample the Background layer, not exclusively, but a lot. It appears to get behavior issues after Photoshop's been running a while, like an hour to a couple of hours. It behaves fine when first opened making it harder to troubleshoot.

Weird stuff and for the record, I don't have any Wacom software installed. There's something universally screwy with modifiers, they just don't work reliably anymore. No idea if it's Apple or Adobe.

I have a hunch but regardless Adobe apps seems incredibly susceptible and more affected than other software. It's really getting irritating. Having this problem today. Work laptop, Photoshop CC. Alt-click shows what I've sampled and I'm able to put the sample where I want it, but when I click to brush, nothing happens.

I've isolated the image to its own file so there are no layer difficulties. After I sample, before I brush, I use keyboard shortcut ctrl-d to ensure there are no active selections. I've used this tool successfully in the past (so I know basically how it is supposed to function), but for some reason today it has decided to sh*t the bed. This is very frustrating and it's eating into my deadline. I'm on a Mac and don't have a problem with the Clone Stamp tool and a Wacom Intuos 4, but just to bring up the obvious—your drivers are up to date and you've checked all the options in the Options bar to make sure nothing is preventing the Clone Stamp tool from performing as expected? You might also open your Clone Source panel just to be sure that's all set properly.

Brushes often throw people because they've forgotten they have a blend mode selected that won't give the desired results (if someone paid me for every time I missed that one.. ), or they've not checked some feature in the brush they have selected that might be preventing it from working as expected. If you're positive all your settings are correct, have you tried deleting preferences in case something has become corrupted? Your modifier key appears to be working since you can see what you've sampled, so it seems more likely that it's not an alt-key issue so much as a Clone Stamp tool issue.

If everything is as it should be, apart from not cloning, if you tell us what versions of the OS and PS your using, maybe someone will come up with good troubleshooting steps for you, or join in with their own similar issue to help Adobe solve the problem. You have a couple ways to delete preferences. One is to quit PS, then hold down Cmd-Opt-Shift and click on the icon to launch it again. A dialog pops up asking if you want to delete your settings. The other way is to be more hands-on. Again, quit PS.
