I have posted a question here: Just to get it to boot I have to set noacpi. This suggests trying the option nolacpi instead. However, trying to choose 'Custom boot options' in the boot menu causes it to freeze. This has been observed by multiple different Linux distributions and it is an issue with your MacBook's hardware. Since your Mac is from this year it is probably too new and the folks who work on the Linux kernel have not gone about fixing the issue yet.
