Both of these instances will need to be run through a conversion process. The disk conversion is considered a FAT32 to NTFS conversion, and the PST conversion is considered an ANSI PST to Unicode PST conversion. Do a quick search and you’ll find several articles detailing those processes.
Always create a backup before trying either of these. If it’s at, or close to 20GB, you have hit the default limit in Outlook 2003 / 2007. Microsoft KB 832925 discusses the adjustment of these settings. The quick version is that you need to make some registry adjustments to increase the limits. Hello All, I am having a very similar issue to Unfortunately, the resolution has not completely worked for me. The quick summary of the problem is that there are several mailboxes that I cannot get to remove from my Outlook profile. Here is what I've tried so far. • Have confirmed that I no longer have access to the mailboxes Exchange Admin Center and PowerShell • Have removed my account from the MSExchangeDelegateListLink attribute for the mailboxes (as per the linked thread). This had the result of removing one of the mailboxes from my Outlook profile, but the rest (14 of them) remain • Have confirmed that the mailboxes are not listed under 'Open these additional mailboxes' in the account options • Have tried creating a new Outlook profile on my PC • Have tried creating a new Outlook profile on a different PC with a different Windows profile (same AD account and mailbox though) • Have tried using Add-MailboxPermission to re-add my access without automapping, and then removed it with Remove-MailboxPermission.so whatever I try, they keep coming back.
There must be something other than Exchange Online and the MSExchangeDelegateListLink that is causing Outlook to continue to add them to my profile. Anyone know what that might be? I cannot expand the mailboxes, so I definitely don't have access to them when I'm not supposed to, but I just can't get rid of them. As a bit of additional background, these are mailboxes that I would have had full access to when we were on Exchange 2003. Since then I've migrated all our mailboxes to Exchange 2010, and from there on to Exchange Online in Office 365 with a hybrid migration. That may be confusing things, but I've no idea why it would. Any ideas would be massively appreciated.
